Diary of a Yoga retreat - Day 10 - am class
I am getting ready in my room, it is not time to leave it. Already though, I am pacing, nervously walking around the room that has been my home for the last 10 days. Looking at my bags, deciding what can fit in. I have an inordinate amount of shopping that will no way fit into my bags or be below the allowed weight on the airplane. I need someone to bring some stuff back for me but that will not be the case. Need to find a post office. Pace, pace, pace.

Somehow I find myself with 5 reading books (what was I thinking?) and 5 magazines. Even if I only read the whole holiday I could not have managed that. Make a mental note to take it easy on the packing for next time. I have countless clothes for the kids. It has been very fun for me but there is way more than 20 kilos in this room.

I am anxious and nervous. I am mostly nervous before I fly. Today is no different. Hoping I can just breathe and be present and use this class as a way of calming myself down. I need to ground it out. Feel my feet inside my feet.

Enjoy this last day I tell myself. We have a group breakfast after class which I always find immensely more enjoyable than the group beginning dinner. We have opened up and bonded now and feel like we are life long friends.

Stay cool and have fun I think. It is all good and you are fine"
