Yoga aura and its growth
LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE
For literally thousands of years people have been expounding on the benefits of yoga. We have all heard the news that it can help you to grow and is beneficial for body, heart and soul. But have you ever witnessed the effects of yoga on a human being who has been practicing consistently for many years.
It is an overwhelming and resounding example of what can happen when a body is used to its fullest capacity for goodness. Practicing asanas (yoga postures) over time will help the body to stream line and awaken flexibility, this is great. But the consistent practice of yoga will not only help your body to become strong. Over time the consistent practice of yoga will start to release the sweetness in a soul.
Working the bhandas (internal body locks) can be difficult to master at the start and can require a lot of concentration to maintain these during practice. This is true and not always good fun at the beginning of learning, but persevere. The ongoing practicie of holding the bhandas will indeed start to work their magic on you.
I have found that it has taken me some time to master the bhanda holding and really I do not always maintain them. But what I have felt, time and time again, is that the holding of these bhandas does indeed create an internal heat which starts to purify my blood and then my body. I can feel myself starting to eliminate the toxins within me and my light starting to shine.
What is your light I hear you asking? Well for me the light is my ultimate sweetness setting forth from within. My friends and family have all commented that I seem happier and more easy going since my practice of yoga became consistent and committed. I can feel that straight after a practice I am walking a little off the ground, gliding through the world, delightful. This affects my whole day and I am in a place of surrender and happiness to all I come upon. I feel my children and husband benefit instantly as I am more patient and happier with them.
As I observe other yogis, many practicing for years longer than myself it is completely apparent that their light is always shining. They have a way about them that is compelling. My current teacher shines in the classroom like no one else I have met so far. It can be intoxicating and inspiring for me to continue the practice under her gaze as I have proof of what can happen for me. Light baby, like nothing else!!
I bumped into another man, respected yogi and teacher, today in the street and his light was pouring from him. He is happy with his lot in life, his skin colour and texture amazing for someone his age and his eyes are filled with a twinkle you cannot deny.
This proof, before my eyes is nearly more convincing than any text I may read. These people, consistently practicing with their own faith, garnered whichever way they needed, has worked for them in life. Nearly all of them have a lifestyle they cherish and nurture, every day. They have nearly all found love of the sweetest kind and they are happy people.
The practice of yoga can take some time to sit with you. Indeed the benefits of yoga can take some time to find their way to your body. We all have toxins we need to eliminate and purge from within. Consistent practice and commitment of the soul to the yoga will help this to work its magic on you. I am starting to feel the benefits and they feel magical. I will continue this for the rest of my life, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind. Apart from my beloved family, yoga is the only thing I can safely say will be in my life for the next 50 years, should I live so long.
Live magically, give it a try, it is all there for us, we need only start to practice and the rest will follow !.
